Behind-the-scenes peek

Our beloved Moosette, currently undergoing her professional training, stretches her legs with her sister/roommate in the play yard at the main kennel.  Chain-link fence may not be the most flattering foreground, but it's still great to see our girl!

Practice makes perfect

We rarely miss the chance to re-demonstrate the protocol for negotiating the "left-hinged door" -- a maneuver that is generally easier for the dogs to pick up than for their handlers.    =)

More adventures at camp

Social bunny that she is, Theia tried out another brief sleep-over with new friend Calusa. After a quick "hello" sniff, the two became great wrestling and napping buddies.

Theia also had the chance to meet another fascinating neighbor-friend of Calusa's, with Mary-Jo's gentle guidance.

Bocce, anyone?

One of many recent public presentations took us to the 11th Annual Bocce Ball Tournament for the Ybor City Lions Club.  Soozie stole the show, but she remained a little fuzzy on the game's rules even after quite a bit of tutoring.

The Ybor Lions proudly shared their album of previous Southeastern pups they've sponsored --

and they even allowed Soozie and Linda and Chloe to have their photo taken with the event trophies!

Faith's new uniform

Now that Faith has passed her first birthday, she has started the process of acclimating to the harness.  It's a proud, though bittersweet moment for David to buckle her in for the first time.
