As much as we will miss Jackie and Suzanne and family, they seem to be having fun exploring their very different environs.  According to Suzanne, people were skiing on the glacier -- in August.  Clearly, they're not in Florida anymore!

Back to school

With "big sister" Liberty proudly in harness, it's time for Zelda to brighten Mary-Jo and Brian's days.

She's well-versed in sitting for portraits already, whether "standard" or silly.  ;-)

Lowe's scavenger hunt

Since people enjoyed the Target scavenger hunt so much last summer, we reprised the activity but moved it to Lowe's this time.  Each team contained a current raiser and either someone else's spouse or an applicant.  Teams needed to stay together to accomplish the tasks.  Some of the items required finding a price; some necessitated talking to a customer or employee; some involved photographing the dogs with various items.  Each time a team passed another, the two pairs switched dogs -- contributing to the confusion and the fun.

Beth completes Item 4:  "List four available brands of liquid laundry detergent."

Rocky and Page are immortalized with the photogenic red washing machine in Item 12.

Beth helps to choose an appropriate paint chip to match her puppy coat.  This task would produce the most laughs after several of the teams came back with paint chips that matched their dogs' fur!  =)

Commonly, puppies are very excited by brooms and mops.  Feliz impresses with her utter calm.
