Teaching "place"

Jennifer's pups seem to have a tendency to seek their own place to call "place*," and construction drawings apparently work for them.  (see Bear, 4/7/2020) 

* "Place" is a command we teach -- as do many pet owners -- to have the dog settle on a mat or a bed.

Welcome home, TAPR!

Able to hold our first in-person meeting for the entire crew since 7 March 2020, we decided to get back in shape at the MetWest gym.  ;-)

Lots of motion and many clanging noises were great exposures for our dogs.  Taking a pup to the gym is one of the later skills a raiser might attempt.  By the nature of a workout, there's lots of settling and relocating and settling and relocating.  Not every trainee will be successful in this setting, but it's a great real-world goal.
